"On the way back from a trip to Valencia, I had a really nice chat in Peñíscola with a shop owner in Spanish. It made me feel as though my speaking abilities were actually progressing, and I found that conversation very meaningful!"

Steps for Applying to an ISA Study Abroad Program

CSU students intending to study abroad through ISA are required to complete both the ISA program application (submitted directly to ISA) as well as the CSU requirements for Study Abroad. Students must be in good academic and disciplinary standing at CSU to be authorized to study abroad.

  1. If you have not already done so, attend a General Information Meeting in Laurel Hall. CSU Study Abroad Advisors are available to assist you throughout the process of program selection, applying and preparing to study abroad.
  2. Complete the Arcadia application for the program/location you have selected by their specified deadlines. ISA reserves the right to make all decisions regarding acceptance to a program. Applicants will be notified of acceptance by ISA according to their timeline.
  3. Complete the CSU requirements for Study Abroad by clicking the "Apply Now" button on this page. Upon clicking "Apply Now," you will be asked to login using your CSU eID. Logging in to the system creates your CSU Study Abroad profile and applicant homepage. Your applicant homepage provides information on the requirements for study abroad through CSU – including the approval of transfer credit, financial aid, pre-departure orientation, Study Abroad administrative service charge, and registration in SA482 to maintain your student status at CSU while abroad.
